Rose,
I'm glad to see you're reading the Scoop-help list. I wish you would
have read my email from December 7th, 10th and 14th on this issue but
since I guess that didn't happen, I'm CC'ing the list so there's no
confusion on this point.
The diary voting box checked for (until updated on December 14) the
'displaystory' OP which is typically used to display individual story
pages. You were using the 'teststory' OP to display individual story
pages. I gather this was because my instructions regarding moving the
template containing story advertising, over to the live story OP, were
not followed. In any case, on the 14th I discovered this, and switched
the diary_vote box to check for the teststory OP assuming there was some
reason you had elected to alias it to 'story' rather than moving the new
story template to the standard story display OP 'displaystory'. You were
sent email in this regard, to tnexta at gmail.com on the evening of the
14th. Since you seem still to be having difficulty I assume you have
other places on your site where you're using the displaystory OP which
would, after the change of December 14, not display the diary voting box
(and I'm now sure you read the Scoop-Help mailing list even though you
don't read email directly from me), today, I've updated the voting box
such that it will be displayed when called with either OP, and am
replying to the list to assure that you receive the reply.

Best Regards,
Colin Hill
