Just keep in mind that many corporate firewalls strip out the referrer 
header.  I'm betting that a "real" email client like outlook doesn't 
have a referrer either.

Thus, it is impossible to tell between somebodies hotlinked "generic guy 
with giant abs holding a pill bottle" viewed in outlook and somebody 
requesting a legitimate image used within hulver.com.

Unless of course outlook & thunderbird send a custom user-agent.  That 
is food for thought.
