I'm in the same boat, unfortunately. We want to do the same thing:
restrict the posting of stories to our internal users, and allow all
registered users to make diaries.

To make things a bit more complicated, my boss wants to rename the
diaries as "stories" and the "stories" as blog entries. This seems like
a lot of manual work, unless there's some global token that's defined
somewhere.

	hi guys

scoop came installed with xlan. i just want to start up my
community but am having a lot of trouble understanding how to "get"
scoop. i've been able to do simple things: i.e. make it so that all new
registerers are 'users' and have been able to hide the 'story' feature
from them (i only want them to do diaries). i have so many questions, is
someone out there?
