Hi Jerry.

Been there, done that. I suppose you could copy or backup the Scoop
database, but as I'm not that proficient with MySQL, I'm not sure if
this is wise or how you'd go about doing it.

My system is simple: never (okay, rarely) edit directly in the Scoop
interface.

1) Use a text editor.
2) Copy and paste existing block, box, etc code into text editor.
3) Save.
4) Save copy with date stamp, and close file.
5) Open version from step #3.
6) Edit file.
7) Copy and paste code back into Scoop.
8) Test, and go back to step 6 if necessary.

Good luck,

Chris

I've already proven that you can hurt yourself by changing original
chunks of a Scoop site. Is there a way to back up or save the original
contents, so that you can revert if you make a serious mistake (or
simply forget why you made a change)?
