Gary, Janra is right. As I wrote before (off list), here is how we have our
RSS op setup:

Op: rss
Template: [use a template that only consists of |content|]
Function: rdf_gen
Function is a box: checked
Enabled: checked
OP Aliases: rss1

I think I know what's going on...

The old RDF system created a static file via cron. I haven't looked
closely at the box grist.org is using, but based on a quick glance
around the grist.org site, it looks like that box is not intended to
run as a cron at all. Since you mention the entire contents of the
feed is displayed in an ugly red font, that tells me the box has the
rss feed as its output - cron boxes have *no* output except error
messages.

What you need to do is attach that box to an op, instead of a cron.
You'll probably want to check with the grist.org folks for the
settings you need, but you'll be creating the op 'rss', telling it to
use the box as its function (and that it is a box), at minimum.

Hope this gets you sorted out!
