Take a look at your backend.rdf file - the story intros should be in
there. It's possible your RSS reader isn't displaying them; many
don't. It's also possible that they aren't being displayed when they
should, as this code was written before RSS readers became popular
and people still signed up for "netscape portal style" headlines. I
haven't been following the RSS spec, so I don't know if it's
different from what Scoop makes.

If the story intros are not in the rdf file, then you have a bug I've
never seen before - I've never had the story intros fail to appear in
the rdf when the titles were there.
