However, I've been back on Apache 1.3 for some time now because of the
problems I found.

Start off, scoop should run out of the box on Apache 2, as long as you
get the right modules installed. Follow the instructions on that page,
and you can't go far wrong.

However, I had major problems with the Admin tools not working
correctly. They would fail to record the changes I made. I don't know
why, I never really looked into it.

Also, file uploads are broken. apache 2 has changed the way file uploads
are handled, and the code has not been changed to cope with it. Mainly
down to the very poor documentation on what has actually changed with
Apache 2.

So, it is possible. I wouldn't recomend it though.
