I'd say, dont send it as a patch. The ad system is an excellent canadiate my plugin. It works great, but hasn't been checked in yet. Yes, it can make all the functions $S->yourfunction, so you can make the ad system a plugin with little trouble. Wanna make it a plugin? 1) Gut out everything about ads from scoop 2) Move them into a different directory 3) I'll post how to make a plugin tarball (pretty easy) 4) ??? 5) profit.
