"Not me" was who I had in mind, actually. :-) I think Keith is the default patch guy right now, but I don't know what he's got going on. It'd be either him or Andrew though. Work that out amongst yourselves. > Anything else you could say about the patch > submission process would be helpful, though, and if anybody knows of a > good "contribute-with-CVS" tutorial anywhere, that would be great. You've been doing just about exactly what we like to see. The place to look for basic info is 'man cvs', in the diff section. It really is pretty easy -- basically, you make your changes, and do 'cvs diff [some options] > patch-file' What exact options are best, I'm not sure. Whatever Joe's been using to make his diffs works well though. Then you email the patch file to whoever is managing your contributions, and they'll tell you if something isn't good enough. :-) --R -- Rusty Foster :: rusty at kuro5hin.org :: http://www.kuro5hin.org Advertise smarter: http://www.kuro5hin.org/submitad Aren't you glad you decided to take on the high-paying, prestige-laden, media-influencing role of a scoop site admin? --ZanThrax
